Tyler started writing after watching one of Oprah's shows, in which she suggests writing as a form of catharsis. In his unconventional rags to riches story, he says, "When God puts something in your spirit, I don't care how dark it is, He will put a ray of light in the distance, and as long as you keep walking toward that light everything will be ok. No matter how dark it was, or how depressed I was, even when I was homeless or sleeping in my car, there was always that light, and I just kept moving toward it."
The man spent all his savings to fund the production of his play for six years, to near empty theaters. But he kept on going, even when he had to give up his house and live in his car. Eventually, his plays started receiving rave reviews and he now has TV and movie productions under his belt.

I resonate with Tyler. Someday, I might be lucky to write scripts for movies and plays like he does. In the mean time, I'm going to steal these vows for my wedding, couldn't have said what's on my heart better:
From the movie: Madea's Family Reunion
The movie Madea's Family Reunion, touches something deep inside of me. It spells out the disasters of false expectations in relationships, but then ties everything nicely around Boris Kodjoe's charming smile and the climax - the wedding scene.
But words are like fairy dust, in the absence of action.
