The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And just like that... poof! He's gone.
The Usual Suspects
I love movies with surprise twists and unusual endings. Red Herrings. The Sixth Sense is a classic example. The Usual Suspects is in the same category. It gets better when you watch it the second time, picking out all the subtle clues which lead to the now obvious ending. Barring surprise twists, the movie experience is vastly different and slightly cumbersome when you already know the ending. Books are no fun either if you read the last page first.
What if you could watch your life replayed at the end? Would it make a difference if you knew how things would end? Would all the little circumstances and situations fall into place and would you see how destiny unfolds, culminating in a grand finale? I'm guessing it would spoil the fun a little. So, munch your popcorn and watch the seconds unfold. I don't know about yours, but my life is definitely a dramatic marathon!
