Use these three simple tips to simplify your travels:
1) Carry samples of toiletries: You can carry these in your hand baggage. Buy shampoos/conditioners, etc. locally when you arrive. If it's a short holiday, sample sized toiletries should last a few days.
2) Use empty spaces: Roll socks, small clothes, power adapters and chargers into your shoes. The extra padding retains the shape of the shoes and keeps all the small odd bits out of the way.
3) Half the stuff and twice the money: This simple equation never makes sense when you're packing your bags, but always proves right when you arrive at your destination. Take half of what you think you really need and carry twice as much money. That's not an encouragement to shop, though.
