A little blue book on my table reminds me every day to never stop dreaming. It's called... wait, ... "DREAM, every day." Every second page has a quote at the bottom from past and present dreamers who aspired, aimed high, imagined possibilities and achieved goals that were beyond limitations.
The rest of the book is blank. Well, it's slowly filling up with my dreams. Here's something I wrote earlier this year. Dreaming, for most of us, is just to get back on track:
It's time to dream again:
Dreams don't die
They get pushed aside,
buried under the mound of everyday existence
Waiting to inhale and get larger
It's time to dream again
To push aside present challenges
And focus instead on goals forgotten
Pull them out, re-consider and set yourself
back on track
It's time to dream again
For the future waits eagerly
As men and women embrace their potential
for bigger, better, brighter things.
