Denial - A river in Egypt

Ok, so I had this brilliant idea for a witty, sarcastic dig at a common myth. Got sidetracked by a friend who wants me to do this:

• I had the longest conversation with an old friend today, who's in a slight fix. What do I do? I'm pretty sure it was a rhetorical question - so I just shut up and listened.
• Something struck me as odd this morning. My team mate literally dragged her feet into work. She wasn't smiling.
• I gave a dog a bone, hoping he wouldn't choke on it.
  

Here's a wild writing exercise - pick three random, unconnected events in your day and relate them in a story.
I'm gonna give it a shot tonight, since for the first time in two weeks, I can finally relax.
