The next little project is to buy mattresses for the kids of Shunem Home. The kids sleep on foam sheets, which can't be very comfortable. The estimated cost (for 50 mattresses) is ~ Rs. 10,000. We've already got Rs. 2,000 - if you would like to contribute and visit Shunem Home on our next trip, please contact me. I'm planning to use the party at my place next week as a fund raiser, if we haven't already been able to collect the money by then.
The schedule for the 2nd of December:1) Blood Drive - 10.30am (more details in my next blog entry)
2) Watch Top Gun on my roof (big screen) - 6.30pm
3) Live Music (jazz and possibly some acoustic guitars) - 8pm (tbc)
4) The actual party - 9pm (invites going out early next week)
