I wrote about this before - people telling me that I look like someone they know. I normally get, "Hey, you know what - you look a lot like this friend of mine, or my cousin, or brother..."
My usual response - "Gee, that's the lamest pickup line I've ever heard, can't you atleast be a little original?"
Play along with me. Women - how often do you have guys saying, "Hey, those shoes look great", or, "I love your earrings", or, "That top looks so nice". Now, do you really think they're playing the role of an easy-going fashion critic - hell no! Its quite obvious they're saying, "I think you're cute, I'm too shy to say that to you directly, so I'm gonna say something very stupid, like tell you how cute your shoes are, even though I couldn't care less about the darned things". So, you agree? (Ofcourse some of you will disagree, that's ok, you can now go back to your Snow White and Seven Dwarves fantasy).
Now, if a girl tells a guy, "I like your hat", or, "I love your shoes", or, "You remind me so much of someone else", what's the logical conclusion??? Yeah, yeah, you can pretend all you want, but we men know!!!
