I recently activated international calling on my phone and was asked to pay a deposit. The next day, I got an sms saying that I was a preferred customer, so international calling would be activated, free of charge! Grrr... alright, I called up my phone carrier and told them I'd like my deposit back. The girl confirmed my request and said that I should expect the deposit within the next 15 days.
Great!
Then I had to get a call like this one:
Girl: Good Afternoon... blah, blah, from blah, blah, calling for blah, blah!
Me: I'm kinda busy, is this important?
Girl: Yes, its to confirm that you will be receiving your activation deposit for international calling in 10-15 hours!
Me: Are you sure??? Hours?
Girl: Yes sir, you will get your deposit back.
Me: I thought it would take 10-15 days, not hours. So, you're saying that you're gonna post me a cheque within 10-15 hours???
Girl: Yes sir.
Me: Alright, you have my billing address.
Girl: Thank you, blah, blah, you've been speaking with... blah, blah, I will ensure that you get your deposit back within 10-15 DAYS!!!!!
