A bunch of toolboxes lay unused at work for months, gathering dust and occupying precious space. I cleaned a couple of them, put a toy car in each and gave them to my cousin's kids. The boys loved them so much, they slept with the boxes. The next morning, they were still clutching on to them, filled up with other toys and little boys' knick knacks. Now, I have a ton of ideas on how to use the rest of the boxes and offers from people who want to buy them!
It isn't too difficult to give gifts to little children. I'm discovering that they'll love anything you give them if they love you. That takes quality time, listening to them and being super, super patient. Oh, and it helps if your nephew thinks you're stronger than Spiderman (I seem to have moved up a notch in the past month).
