Going Dutch Isn't Really Dutch!

    My Dutch flatmate clarified an assumption about Dutch men and dates. He insists that Dutch girls never have to pay on dates, that's the domain of the man.
    "So, why do they call it going Dutch?" I asked.
    "Because Dutch guys are stingy, man!"

    I find that hard to believe.
