Sniffer Dogs And Troubled East Indians

The central police department discovered recently that local police in Trinidad and Tobago were tipping off drug farmers before planned raids. Working on information from sources, the central police organized drug raids, only to arrive in a town and find no trace of illegal drugs. They decided to skip the formality of calling the local police, a move that resulted in successful raids. In the first raid, the sniffer dogs led them to the garage. A massive container filled with weed was hidden under the floorboards.

Earlier, the drug smugglers who were tipped by the local police spread chili powder all around the containers. The disguised scent put the dogs off and the crooks got away.

"That's great," my friend said. "All they have to do is train the sniffer dogs to pick up the scent of chili powder!"

"Hang on a second..." said the Indian in the room. "That would lead them straight to every dinky Indian spice shop!" Imagine the look on poor Mahesh's face as he tries to explain to the police that he's never so much as touched weed in his entire life!
