A friend lives in an idyllic town in Switzerland. I don't know if it's really idyllic, to my imaginative mind, any town in Switzerland is idyllic. Complete with cows with bells around their necks in the backyard. My friend says Swiss cows don't wear bells! They're just Swiss souvenirs. This little town might actually be a village. My friend isn't sure if there's a difference, so I looked up a site (blurtit.com) that had a variety of funny responses:
1) "I live in a village, i dont live in a town. Theres one differance =)"
2) "A city is more advanced than a village."
3) "A City has a cathedral"
4) "Some villages actually do have government."
5) (In response to above answer,) "Adam don't blurt out stupid things off course a village has a government! The diff. Is that cities are more modern than villages"
6) "A city has donkeys in it whereas a town does not. A town has monkeys. A village has neither donkeys nor monkeys but it always has rats."
7) "These answers by far are the stupidest thing I've ever read. Poplulation? Cathedrals? Donkeys? Idiots."
If you have a better answer, let me know.
