The Economics of Dating - I

For a while now, I've been working on a piece aptly titled, "The Economics of Dating" - a close, hard look at how dating works in Hyderabad for people in their twenties.

I decided to google the title to see if others had written similar articles and found this (click to open in a new window):

Business Life: The economics of dating

"...with the intriguing title, “Can anyone be The One?” The answer, I’m afraid, is “just about anyone, yes.”
"...people respond to slim pickings by lowering their standards. So if you really believe there’s just one special person out there for you, you’re more patient than the rest of us."

My article is a collection of interviews with friends, some with strangers and my own experiences (however short lived), in Hyderabad. I tried to get a magazine to publish it, but they reckon it's a little raw for their audience.

So I'm just going to wait, patiently. Not just for the article.
