iphone... idon't think so!

Months ago, I was content with my Motorola flip - basic features, built to be thrown around. I'm rough with phones. Until I got the iphone and realized how little nifty gadgets in neat packaging could easily become the bane of our existence.

Three months later, my battery dies out in 2 hours (in standby mode) and I'm left surfing countless pages, trying different trouble shooting options to prevent my iphone turning into ipaperweight! Looks like the only way forward is to send it back and that's a pain. Hmm... the previous two Apple-related problems, with my old ibook and airport base station were easily fixed after a lot of painful investigation. Is it worth it? Apart from the software, unlocking and battery issues, considering how half the city seems to own an iphone (in Hyderabad!), I'm not so isure anymore. It worked like a charm for three months, though.
