Another place, another time

One of the traits of a good film is the ability to transport the audience to a different place. What did you feel when you watched Gladiator, Troy, 300, Lord of the Rings?

Although Russel Crowe doesn't feature in my list of favorite actors, he deserved an Academy award for his role in Gladiator.
The sound track for this movie is haunting. A writer uses descriptive words to set the mood for a scene. Movies depend heavily on sound track. This song is a killer, with the fields of wheat and warriors, the love of a family, betrayal... freedom.
