On short trips, I don't carry much. Just the basics. At the airport, I checked in, only hand baggage, but was informed at security that I can't carry perfume or toothpaste in hand luggage! Apparently, smelling good and having clean teeth can be dangerous these days... *sarcasm*
I get on the plane and... I can smell the flight attendants from ten feet away. Maybe that's why you're not allowed to carry perfume? 'Cos there's already so much freely wafting, sickeningly good smell, any more and you'll actually have to use the throw-up bag!!!
