Sunday morning - getting ready for Church. My cousin Solomon and his mum (from the US) are staying in the apartment below us. They came over for my uncle's funeral. I told him I would take him to Church on Sunday morning. He was supposed to wait downstairs for me to come wake him up when I was ready. I normally dead-bolt the door from inside and walk around home in my hipsters.
Sunday morning, I get into the bathroom for a quick shower. I walk out naked- to be greeted by Sol's face - jaw drop!
For an instant, I froze. He said, "Hey, sorry, I rang the doorbell..." and I noticed his mum's bags on the sofa and bolted back into the bathroom! One moment I'm alone at home and the next, I'm naked and there are two people sitting at the dining table!
Apparently, I forgot to push the knob on the door. Sol knocked on the door, rang the doorbell (I never heard), his mum figured it was ok to come in, since the door wasn't locked. He knocked on the bathroom door to let me know he was in (I never heard). Luckily, they were sitting at the dining table and only Sol could see me walk out of the bathroom - his mum was busy reading the paper on the other side and didn't have the foggiest about what was going on.
Anyway, Sol and I repeated that story a few times to our other cousins and they all just burst out laughing...
